Mountaineer: Green Box Elder & Ivory Paper
Mountaineer: Green Box Elder & Ivory Paper
The Mountaineer is one of our versatile general-use bushcraft knives. The blade is long enough for batonning through wood logs and slicing meat/food, but is also short enough for controlled woodworking. The nearly spear-pointed blade paired with the ergonomic coke bottle contoured handle make this knife truly excellent for use in the wilderness.
This Mountaineer has a John Muir quote etched on to the spine. "The clearest way into the universe is through a forest wilderness." We used ivory paper on the handle for liners; like all ivory paper liners there are visible lines running through it (almost like ivory cracks). These lines do not effect function and of course the entire knife is covered under the same heirloom warranty as everything else we make.
