The Explorer is a versatile general-use bushcraft knife.  It is the first knife Cody designed and remains one of the most requested models.  The blade is long enough for batonning through wood logs and slicing food, but is also short enough for controlled woodworking. The rugged drop-point blade shape has a little more blade "belly" than the Mountaineer.  Paired with the ergonomic coke bottle contoured handle, this knife is a well-rounded knife which is excellent for use in the wilderness.

Note: This knife's blade grind is inspired from the Mora Kansbol.  I liked the idea of making a custom version of its hybrid grind, with a scandi base and a thinner full-height top portion to assist in slicing.
